After maintaining the gardeningzone.com website for a few years, I decided it was time for two things:

1. Make the site easier to administer
2. Set up an informational journal for like-minded organic gardeners.

I’ve loved gardening for as long as I can remember: some of my first memories are helping with the yard work as a young child. And I loved it!

About 10 years ago I borrowed a copy of the Encyclopedia of Organic Gardening by Rodale, and read it cover to cover. I was hooked.
